Group Behind Potential Atlanta NHL Franchise In Forsyth County Breaks Ground On Project

Krause Sports & Entertainment's bid for an NHL expansion franchise, in the Atlanta area of Forsyth County, has taken a step forward by breaking ground on their massive The Gathering at South Forsyth project. The first phase of construction started on September 1, 2026. The Gathering will include an 18,000-18,500 capacity arena if the group is approved for an NHL franchise. The story is here.
