Canadian Hockey Player Left For Australia Forty-Five Years Ago And Stayed

Canadian hockey player Garry Dore left Canada in 1981 to play for an Australian Ice Hockey League team and he ended up staying. After Dore's playing days, he moved to management and he just recently won a seventh AIHL Championship as general manager of the Newcastle Northstars. The story is here.
