World Cup of Hockey Returns (Hopefully On A Permanent Basis Every Four Years!)

The NHL and NHLPA announced Monday that Calgary, Edmonton and Prague will serve as hosts of the 2028 World Cup of Hockey. The World Cup was last played in 2016. The 2028 World Cup will be sandwiched between the recently completed 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina and the 2030 Winter Olympics in Nice (for best-on-best international competition).
