Toronto Maple Leafs Fire General Manager Brad Treliving. The Path To Success Has To Be A Complete Overhaul!
The Toronto Maple Leafs haven't won the Stanley Cup since 1967. They fired their general manager Brad Treliving on Monday. He's the latest in a long list of managers that haven't been able to get the Maple Leafs into a position to hoist the Cup. So now what? This team requires a complete overhaul! A simple retool won't get them to where they need to go. All players should be made available in trade and they need to build up a weak prospect system into an NHL elite prospect system. It's going to take time and there will be a lot of pain ahead, but this franchise (and their fans) needs to show patience in building a championship team.
