Dublin, Ireland is getting a new ice arena (Prime Arena) with two Olympic-sized ice rinks (the country's first permanent ice rinks). The main arena will seat 6,000 for hockey and it will be the home for Irish Winter Sports. The establishment of Prime Arena will lead to a team in the professional Elite Ice Hockey League (a Dublin team will join the Belfast Giants as the two EIHL teams on the island) and it will also help boost the Ireland hockey national team program. The Prime Arena website is here.
