John Tortorella Takes Over In Vegas. Will The Move Lead To Playoff Success?
The Vegas Golden Knights replaced head coach Bruce Cassidy with John Tortorella on Sunday, hoping to spur an underperforming team to close out the regular season on a high note and navigate playoff success. Was the move necessary? Will the move lead to playoff success? The answers to both questions lean towards yes. This Vegas Golden Knights roster is too good to just barely make the playoffs and go out of the playoffs quickly. There's a good chance the move to install John Tortorella as head coach will lead Vegas on a solid run in the upcoming playoffs and quite possibly a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals.
